A Belgian twist on a distinctly American style of beer, with some New Zealand hops thrown in for extra measure. This beer pours a hazy gold color with a creamy white head. The use of Kohatu (Maori word for rock or stone) hops give aromas of lemon rind and spice that greet your nose above a puffy cloud of foam. Flavors of subtle spice and light citrus fruits dance on your tongue and do battle with a piney and spicy bitterness that lingers into the finish. A nice beer to enjoy on a hot summer's day.
